St Luke's Hospice is a much loved and treasured local institution and provides speciallist palliative care, free of charge to more than 2,000 patients with life limiting or terminal illnesses each year. St Luke's serves patients from Plymouth, South West Devon and East Cornwall. Patients can receive care at the Hospice as an inpatient, at the Day Hospice, as an outpatient or in their own homes through our Community Palliative Care Teams. The Hospice costs more than £5 million each year to run. Sadly, government funding is very limited and so annually at least £3.5 million must be raised from within the communities we serve. Without the support of our local community, the Hospice simply wouldn't exist.
